I bought the bundle for our 5 and 7 year old grandsons and left the two books on the table. Our 2 1/2 year old grandson came over and right away he wanted to read both of the books. He had my husband read them to him two times in a row. He really like them and has us read them every time he comes over now. He seems to like the Shepherd book the best. They are done really well, and I am glad I got them. However, the one books pages are wrinkled and not flat like the other book pages for some reason. I would not be happy with that if I did end up giving it as a gift to my other grandsons.

These books are wonderful! My daughter is just a little too young for this show (8 but easily scared - demons, some of the brutality from Romans, etc. my friend’s 8 yo lives the show though). I digress. My husband and I discuss show with her often so it was such fun to share these stories with her. The illustrations are truly beautiful and we have such a fun time looking at all their sweet details. The story is told in a way that gets her interested. I’m really hoping for more! Sure, the "Jesus Loves the Children" story isn't in the Bible per se but HIS love compassion and willingness to teqch the children is and this story exhibits that in a wonderful manner that has made this story(much to liking) a most requested book at bedtime by my nearly 3 year old, sometimes multiple times in a row. My 6-year-old and 4-year-old loved the first Chosen children's book about the children meeting Jesus. It was an automatic and exuberant purchase as soon as I saw the second book about the Shepherd was also out. I went ahead and bougth the activity book as well. The scriptures come to life for my kids whenever they read these books. We pair them with the episodes from series and then read in the Bible the actual stories the Chosen is retelling. My kids feel a real connection with Jesus when they can visualize him from a new perspective. Our family LOVES the Chosen and will be buying these books as gifts for all our little friends!

I purchased the bundle. These books about the shepherd and Jesus with the children are perfect, beautifully illustrated and eloquently written. My 4 and 6 year old grandsons love them.
The workbook has such a variety of activities and plenty of them, but definitely made for upper elementary/middle schoolers. Frustrating for my 6 1/2 year old grandson that loves puzzle books. I will save it for a few years if I don’t do it myself as it is a great book.

I bought the Easter bundle to split between 2 groups of kids. I’m so pleased with all 3 books, I now wish I bought 2 bundles! Wasn’t sure I’d like the artwork of the picture books, but as simple as it is, it goes nicely with the excellent text, which closely mirrors The Chosen episode scripts. That coloring book is a marvel of fascinating facts and activities to keep little and big kids like me occupied for untold hours! Suggestion: show text pictures or a mini video of them to encourage would-be buyers to invest in these fine books. Thanks for creating them!

The books are beautiful. The covers have a very nice feel and are wipeable, and the pictures in the stories are wonderful. However, I was surprised to see that all the characters have dark skin, which they did not in the episodes. My granddaughter, who is almost five, is too young for the activity book, which is chock full of neat activities; I will save that book until she is older. The two books will make a great birthday present for her upscoming birthday.
