I absolutely love this series. I am a leader of a small group session at my parish. Currently, we have four small group sessions in progress. ALL who are involved can't say enough good things about this series, how it's changed their faith journeys, and can't wait to tell their friends and relatives about it.
I purchased the DVD, devotional book, and Interactive Bible study book for season one so I can preview and better prepare to present to my group. I will be ordering the same for Season 2, and beyond as it comes available, and looking forward to sharing/viewing with family and friends. I am 73 yrs. old, and never, before have I done a series or bible study that has excited me and inspired me more about Jesus and growing in my faith journey than Chosen. I just keep on watching it every night, can't seem to get enough of Jesus and his way of picking his disciples, reading
all this from the Bible and seeing it come to life is really exciting and just amazing. The mannerisms of the disciples
are just so amazing. The confrontation with Paul and Matthew is exceptional. Matthew's mannerisms bring so much anticipation for the series. One of the statements about having a relationship with Jesus is my core belief.
I will be anxiously be waiting for all the seasons episodes. In the end it's all about Jesus and His love and compassion for humanity. I hope this series will bring a revelation and bring many unbelievers to Jesus

I am “technology challenged” (old is another term for it) and have not mastered the art of “app-ing” and really don’t enjoy the eye-rolls I get when I ask for assistance from my kids and then can’t remember how to do it when I need to do it again…. So it’s the blu-ray DVD set for me and I love it!! As long as they don’t discontinue making DVD players, I’m good and I can share my set with other “boomers” whenever I want. This series is so different than any other and I hope the new episodes will continue to be on YouTube, even if just for a limited time, till the next season can be ordered on DVD. The devotional is also great, thought-provoking and I’m sure I’ll go through it more than once. It’s very nicely bound and the size of the print is much appreciated (see above!). I love “The Chosen”.

My wife and I were introduced to "The Chosen" by her sister and husband just as Season 2, Episode 5 was about to be released. We binge watched the available episodes, then saw S-2, E-5, then binge watched it again from the beginning. That was two weeks ago. We started again last night.
We had an amazing experience while visiting our in-laws. Our brother-in-law's sister and husband came over for debut of S-2, E-5. We had 3 couples in the room, varying versions of Christianity, commitment, and belief. And we had a discussion. Absolutely organic and unplanned. We talked about what Jesus meant to each of us, how we differed in our understanding of why Mary Magdalene went into town after Jesus cleansed the demons, and other aspects of how our spiritual lives intersected with our daily lives. It was a loving, compassionate time with zero dogma voiced and absolutely no judgment of the others. All there was, was love and understanding we were all on an individual (and somehow collective) path to the same destination. It was an amazing experience my wife and I still talk about and marvel at.
With our purchase of the first season Blu-ray, a "40 days with Jesus" booklet (very nicely done, BTW) was included. I'm on day 3 of my 40 days, reading and considering the day's lesson every day following my morning devotions.
This series helped me and, I believe, us, to bridge some false differences with others and they with us, and to see Jesus and his path in my life more clearly. And each episode generated many conversations for my wife and me. This series is a blessing.
