My 5 year old LOVES this story. It really brings Jesus alive to him, makes Jesus more real and not just a name of a guy who lived a long time ago, or since abstract concept he struggles to comprehend. We have lots of Bible based stories, and we read the Bible with him daily- have all his life- but this book helps him understand and see Jesus as a real person so well. We highly recommend this book!

I bought this book for my grand children to take with me as a 'surprise' so when they ask if I'll read a 'story' to them I can bring it out and simply leave it with them when I go home. Their ages are 3 - 11 and I'm certain they will all love this book.
I like how it gives the personality of Jesus as he explains to these children his work. It is age appropriate and written in such a way to make it easy for even the youngest one to understand how Jesus cares for everyone no matter their ages or maturity.
