I have purchased 3 sets of these books. For myself and my children. The daily readings use an example from the show, share a specific psalm, and breaks down the message in laments terms for a clearer understanding. Some questions are challenging but I believe it’s significant to bring you closer to Jesus, especially when you reflect on all aspects of your life were Jesus has been by your side. I don’t attend church, but I talk to God everyday. These books have helped understand certain passages on a much deeper level.

The first set of three were ordered for myself. But my 18 yr old grandson who was not raised in the church asked his Mom if he could get a Bible as he goes off to college. I am currently reading the first The Chosen, 40 Days with Jesus devotional and love it! It is easy to read and I enjoy that it has a few questions for you to think about and answer in your own journal. I think this is a great way to strengthen your journey to understanding Gods word. The quality of the books is excellent and I like the addition of a ribbon bookmark.
