Love the quality, but I really like the commentaries and other special features. I wanted to own the series bc you never know how much of The Chosen will be available online over the years once the series ends. Season 3 is on my Christmas list. The only thing that saddened me was the DVD boxes were sent in only a bubble-padded envelope, and the corners of the DVD boxes were crushed and bent. If they had sent them in a box, I doubt that would’ve occurred.

A beautiful blu-ray set, I have long waited for a series like this. The blu-ray disk prints of the characters are fantastic together with the clean detailed box and holders.
As for the show I am surprise to watch that there was an episode about the sheppards for season 1 and about mother Mary and St. Joseph for season 2 which I found great. The video quality is also great for every episode.
As for the extra, its nice to have director commentary on some episodes, bible reference, talk with the theologians, miracles on the choosen and many more.

When Daystar was showing The Chosen, I only viewed a handful of episodes in season 1, but fell in "love" with it immediately. Then after I went to the theater and viewed Episode 7 & 8, I was hooked and decided I have to have seasons 1,2, & 3.

Absolutely LOVE The Chosen. Each season moves me more than the next. I am not a crier for movies typically, but my, oh my! It is definitely doing what St. Ignatius wanted when we use our imagination in prayer, filling in some gaps with possibilities. I have pre-ordered season 3 already and purchased my oldest sister her own copies of seasons 1 & 2 for her birthday! Shhh, not until 2/21! BTW, I thoroughly appreciate the cast not being blue hair and blue eyed with characters with observable human flaws.
