I am pleased with the Bible study book but there is no DVD with it. When it is advertised as a "pack" I just assumed it would come with the DVD as well. The book cannot be used without the DVD. When my sister ordered it to lead a Bible study group it came with the book and video. I was disappointed.

They know about God and some are believers but trust and faith that Jesus accepts them right where the are is most often a huge issue (takes one to know one!). This week we will be on our 3rd lesson. The episodes are powerful (Is 43:1) and The Chosen Bible Study lessons “seal the deal.” It is wonderful for me to see the miraculous changes in these women that have felt so alone and hopeless—thank you, thank you, thank you for illustrating Jesus alive!

We just started a bible study with the Chosen first season, and so far, I love the questions and the simplicity of the study. We have a range of people seeking God, including a self-proclaimed “baby Christian” and a woman over seventy who grew up with missionary parents and who writes and leads her own bible studies. And the Chosen study meets us all where we are at, unifying us in the conversation around our experience in faith. It helps us get to the core of issues and support one another. I do have a suggestion: I know the green ink used in the book is linked to the cover color, but it is much harder for my 74 year old eyes to read. Please keep senior eyes in mind when designing books.

I’ve been a Christian from my youth but lately I have been in a dark place that I couldn’t seem to break out of but then I started watching The Chosen one sleepless night and and couldn’t stop watching.
